How do we approach building project management information systems?

The approach is simple. We execute a four-step framework that works to give you the fundamentals of a solid project management environment REGARDLESS of your project management technology choice.

Here's the flow:

1. PROJECT INTAKE - Project intake is important because it gives greater control over how you take up work, more importantly, it helps define the team's portfolio by letting you decide what projects you want to work on. This is crucial in shaping the identity of the team.

2. PROJECT TEMPLATES - Templates enable you to set up projects, tasks, reports, and other files without having to start from scratch every time. Customizable templates take it one step further than your standard template, enabling you to adjust the template structure and information to suit your project's needs.

3. PORTFOLIO DASHBOARD - A project management dashboard helps project teams track projects by showing high-level metrics for project progress as well as project task status, budget, and anything else that offers real-time insight into a project.

4. ARCHIVING - The key reason to archive your documents is to avoid losing data. All documents are vulnerable to being destroyed or corrupted (if digital), either maliciously, by accident, or by a natural disaster, such as a flood or fire. Electronic documents can be compromised by: security threats.
